Projects in Emerging Technology (2021 Spring Semester)

Course Description
This course expects students to start from the top conference results related to emerging technology. We will introduce the design methods and processes of emerging technology. Then, design, prototype, and evaluate high-impact emerging technology systems. First, we will expand students’ horizons through guided reading of selected representative papers on emerging technology and then brainstorm with students to come up with interesting ideas. According to the selected ideas, we will guide students to think deeper and more comprehensively step by step according to the design steps of emerging technology. In order to equip students with the ability to develop emerging technology systems, several practical introductions of emerging technology-related implementation skills will also be arranged. The course will be a mixture of lectures, hands-on or paper reading assignments, and one course project. We also regularly discuss and adjust their work ideas with students. We hope that there will be results from this course that can be demonstrated or even published at international conferences at the end of the term.
